Childcare first aid in English
(Erste Hilfe in Bildungs- und Betreuungseinrichtungen für Kinder)

This course is intended for people who work with children as caregivers in nurseries or as educators in primary schools. 

The topics of this course are tailored to the needs of educators and caregivers, so that you can always react optimally in emergency situations. The course allows you to specifically train for pediatric emergencies but as well as for emergencies of your colleagues. This also includes acting as a first responder in the sense of the professional association. 

Note for day-care mothers: The responsible youth welfare office determines which course must be attended; as a rule, this is the course "Childcare first aid." Whether your youth welfare office recognises this course should be clarified in advance.

Duration: 9 units of 45 minutes each (equivalent to 8 hours per day including breaks)

Course fee: €65.00 Reduced rate*: €60.00
*Discount with proof for: students, trainees, volunteers in the FSJ/BFD, pensioners, people with disabilities (GdB ≥70%)

The costs are covered by the responsible accident insurance carrier if necessary. Please ask your responsible accident insurance carrier (BG/Unfallkasse) in advance.

Course for teachers at schools: We offer training sessions at your location for groups of more than 35 participants upon prior arrangement.

The content of our courses is aligned with the accident prevention regulations of the professional associations (VBG 109/BGV A5).
